COURSE NAME

REAL ESTATE PRACTICE

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will introduce aspiring licensees to real estate practice and teach the fundamentals of real estate brokerage as it relates to residential real estate, which involves the representation of sellers, buyers, property owners, and tenants for which the licensee will be paid compensation. Real Estate Practice will also coach students on additional practices relating to real estate, such as following California's regulations on advertising real estate services, licensee responsibilities when handling money or other items of value given to them by clients, and properly disclosing themselves to customers and clients as real estate licensees.

Because the ethical conduct of a licensee will follow them throughout their career, this course will explain how to properly work with buyers and sellers to ensure that clients are treated fairly regarding ethical conduct and compliance with fair housing regulations.
