REAL ESTATE PRACTICE 

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION .BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION. This course will introduce aspiring licensees to real estate practice and teach the fundamentals of real estate brokerage as it relates to residential real estate, which involves the representation of sellers, buyers, property owners, and tenants for which the licensee will be paid compensation. Real Estate Practice will also coach students on additional practices relating to real estate, such as following California's regulations on advertising real estate services, licensee responsibilities when handling money or other items of value given to them by clients, and properly disclosing themselves to customers and clients as real estate

Because the ethical conduct of a licensee will follow them throughout their career, this course will explain how to property work with buyers and sellers to ensure that clients are treated honestly regarding ethical conduct and compliance with fair housing regulations. Students will also learn about learning about personal bias and how they relate to the practice of real estate

ADDITIONAL SCHOOL POLICY AND PROCEDURES FINAL EXAM: May be taken after 2.5 weeks of study. Call (323) 461-3926 to be assigned a proctor. The exam consists of 100 questions (3 hours allowed). You must email a copy of your ID to the school. The school will grade the exam within 2 days. Passing grade is 60% or better. If you fail, you may take a 2nd version of the final exam.

• Fair Housing Section: Materials will be emailed to you. This section is not proctored and includes 1.5 hours of reading (Chapter 15), 1 hour for answering questions, and 0.5 hours for feedback. Email your answers to the school. A passing grade is 60% or better. Robert Gabai, a California real estate broker, will provide feedback via phone call within 48 hours. You are allowed one retake for this section.

Important:A participant who fails the re-examination has failed the course and receives no credit from that course. Such a participant is not barred from re-enrolling an attempting completion of the same course, but must re-complete the credit hours and pass the final examination to receive credit for the course. Students must complete the fair housing portion first before they can be allowed to take the final exam.

After 2.5 week of study for this class you may take the final exam.  Call (323)461-3926 and the school will assign a proctor to you. The proctor will give you 3 hours to finish 100 questions on the scantron that school provides. You are required to email a copy of your identification to school. The proctor has to return the scantron to school and school will grade it within 2 days and send you your certificate to you. If you do not pass you may take the 2nd version of the final exam, which has different questions. You have to get 60% or better.

There is also a section called Fair Housing.   The material for this section is emailed to you and you have 3 hours of more to work on this section. 1.5 hour of this class is reading material from chapter 15. you will spend 1 hour answering the questions. 1/2 hour is dedicated for getting feedback. This section is not proctored. After finishing this section, please email your answers. After the school receives the answers to the interactive section the school will grade them. The student will have to get 60% or better to pass.  You will receive a phone call from school to provide you with feedback for the interactive section. Robert Gabai, a California real estate broker will provide the feedback. You will be able to retake this section once.  The retake has the same questions.
